This dust jacket design is an original sci-fi YA called the Reservoir which is a story about a dystopian future where humans have found the cure to mortality. It was designed to have symbolic art and modeled after retro and modern sci-fi book covers. Book summary:Lily remembers a life before now. She remembers the way the strands of grass felt on her fingers, the taste of hot curry with rice, and her gasping for breathe as she laughed at a silly joke. But now there is nothing. The only things she can do was watch and listen to the world pass her by. She didn't know how she became a robot. One day she woke up, the sound of her engine wiring to life. Android 18938 was her model number. All she was programmed to do was work the assembly line of battery assembly.
But then one day a child broke into the facility, wearing a hospital gown and carrying a gun. Lily could only watch as the child's eyes honed in on her, eyes lighting up and running towards the robot. The child started tinkering with her machinery and plugged something in. "Lily! Lily!
Can you hear me? Its me Piper! Your systems should be almost done recalibrating now but do you remember me? Please tell me you remember."
